Carmelo Drops 62 In The Knicks Blowout Of The Bobcats

New York Knicks star Forward Carmelo Anthony scored 62 points in the Knicks 125-96 win against the Charlotte Bobcats. It was a Madison Square Garden record in points (beat out Kobe Bryant who had a Garden record of 61 points). Also, Melo broke the Knicks franchise record in points (the old record was held by Bernard King who had 60 points).  And it also was Camelo's career high in points.

Taj Gibson Hot Streak Continues As He And Bulls Push Pass The Lakers (And 100th Post!)

The Chicago Bulls played the Los Angeles Lakers last night and won 102-100 in Overtime. Bulls Forward Taj Gibson (someone who I have a picture of on the blog) had the game-winning layup at the buzzer. Taj, who has been one of the better (if not the best) player on the bench of the Chicago Bulls team. With all of the amazing slams and clutch shots this just adds to his 2013-2014 season highlight reel. (P.S. This is my 100th post!!!)

UNC Tar Heels Game Number 1

Hey guys. I went to North Carolina over the weekend and I saw a UNC (University of North Carolina) Tar Heels game. My dad is a big fan of the team (mostly because of Michael Jordan) and he got tickets. UNC was playing against Boston College and they won 82-71. It was my first live UNC game ever and it was such a great experience! I hope I can do it again!

Nickname Night!

The Miami Heat play the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Besides the good matchup there is something special going on that has never happened in the NBA before... It's Nickname Night! Nickname Night is when each player on each team makes up a nickname and it is put on the back of their jersey (instead of their real names).

Knicks Shopping J.R. Smith?

Reports say that the New York Knicks are willing to trade Guard J.R. Smith and I think I know why. First off, J.R. is having a down season, especially after winning the 6th Man of the Year Award. Lastly, He has been dealing with some issues with the NBA. He was suspended the first 5 games of the season because he violated the NBA drug policy and much more.

Knicks And Nets Win In 2 Great Finishes

The New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets both won yesterday in some great games. The Knicks won 105-101 against the San Antonio Spurs. Iman Shumphert was the main beneficiary with a career high 27 points for New York. Also, the Nets won in a close game. They won 95-93 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They won on a game-winning fadeaway jumper by none other than... Joe Johnson! A great night for New York basketball fans last night against some tough Western Conference teams.
