NBA Buyout Signings

An NBA buyout is when a player is released but is paid the salary that was owed to them during the season. Afterwards, they become free agents and can sign with any team. Here are some recent NBA buyouts:

Jimmer Fredette

1) Ex College Associated Press' player of the year Jimmer Fredette (above) was recently bought out by the Sacramento Kings and now is a member of the Chicago Bulls.

Caron Butler

2) Former Milwaukee Bucks Forward Caron Butler (right) was bought out by the Bucks and now is a player for the Oklahoma City Thunder. 





3) Lastly, ex NBA All-Star Danny Granger (right) was recently bought out by the Philadelphia 76ers after being traded to them at the trade deadline for Evan Turner. He has now signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
